Puerto Rican Mami Dance AI: the two photos that work

Puerto Rican Mami Dance AI swaps two faces into a clip that is already filmed, so almost everything about the result is decided before you upload anything. The room is the room, the beat is the beat, the choreography is fixed. What you control is the two faces — and how well they survive fourteen seconds of movement.

One dancer per photo

The clip has two dancers in it, and each of your photos takes one of them. A photo with two people in frame is the single most common mistake: the model averages them into one shape, and you end up with a stranger who is half of both of them.

What worksWhat to avoid
One face, filling most of the frameA group shot — the model averages two people into one
Facing the camera, eyes visibleSide profile or sunglasses
Sharp, still, well litMid-movement blur
Plain or simple backgroundA busy room behind you
Head and shoulders, or full body in a clear poseA cropped forehead or a body cut off at the knees

What the model keeps from your photo

  • The face — it is the identity reference, and it has to read clearly.
  • The body — build, height and posture carry into the routine.
  • Hair — colour, length and style stay, unless you ask for a change.
  • The clothes you were wearing — a person keeps their own outfit.

That last one is the rule worth remembering: a person in the photo keeps the clothes from the photo, not the outfit worn by the dancer they replace in the clip. If you want a different look, say so.

Writing the outfit instruction

Under each photo there is a line for outfit, makeup, hair or anything else you want changed about that one dancer. It applies to that dancer alone — it never bleeds into the other one. Keep it concrete: 'white tank top and gold hoops', 'a grey suit', 'short blonde hair'. 'Something nicer' gives the model nothing to work with.

  • Name one outfit. 'A red dress' beats 'a red dress for the party, with matching shoes and earrings' — the extras are noise.
  • Say whose it is. The instruction under a photo applies to that photo's dancer.
  • Leave it empty if the photo already works. An empty line means no change, not a request for something.

Pets work the same way

Both slots accept a pet, and the rules are the same: one animal per photo, the face visible and sharp, and the outfit instruction applied to that animal alone. If you leave the line empty, a pet keeps whatever it is wearing in the photo. If you want the clip's dancer outfit on the animal instead, say so explicitly — the default is that the animal keeps its own look.

  • Shoot the pet roughly at eye level. From above, the face foreshortens and the model reinvents it.
  • Keep the whole animal in frame if the shot is full-body — a cropped pet becomes a cropped pet in the render too.
  • Two animals of the same species look best. A cat next to a dog works, but two dogs can blur into each other.

Common mistakes

  1. 1Uploading the same person twice, in two photos. The clip gets two of the same face and no partner.
  2. 2Using a photo where the face is small. Distance in the source becomes distance in the render, and the model fills the gap with somebody else's features.
  3. 3Asking for a change and expecting it on both dancers. Each instruction is scoped to one photo.
  4. 4Forgetting the AI label when posting. It costs nothing in reach and it is the rule.

Puerto Rican Mami Dance AI questions, answered

Can I use the same photo for both dancers?

You can, but the clip will show the same face twice and no partner. The trend works because two people trade places — two different faces make that readable.

Does my dancer keep the outfit from my photo?

Yes. A person in a reference photo wears the clothes from that photo, not the outfit worn by the performer they replace in the clip. Write an outfit instruction if you want something else — it applies to that one dancer only.

What if my pet is wearing a hoodie in the photo?

The pet keeps the hoodie. If you want the outfit from the clip's dancer instead, say so in the outfit line for that photo — an empty line means no change.

How big should the face be in the photo?

Big enough to read clearly — head and shoulders filling most of the frame is the safe choice. The face has to survive fourteen seconds of movement, and a small face gets reinvented by the model.

See the clip before you make one

This is the prepared scene — the room, the beat and the choreography are already filmed. Send two clear photos and the same duo clip comes back with you in it.

The prepared scene. One photo fills the dancer on the left, the other the dancer on the right.

Puerto Rican Mami Dance AI is two photos and one payment. The clip renders in about five to eight minutes.
